Try this life changing experience...

Hello,

We congratulate you for your decision to explore the amazing underwater world. We guarantee that this experience will be the highlight of your life for a long time to come. According to a research conducted by PADI, over 75% of the first-timers such as yourself come back for the Open Water Diver training within 12 months of having this memorable experience...

If you have not dived before, you have 2 options for trying scuba diving the first time:

First one is TRY Dive; This is a one off diving that you do with an instructor, you don't control your equipment, the instructor controls everything and you just breathe underwater and enjoy the environment. We take you to a maximum depth of 5 meters and you spend about 20 minutes underwater. All you need to do is enjoying the moment underwater.

The Second option is the PADI DSD course which consists of 2 dives, the first one is to 5 metres and the second one is to 12 metres. You learn and practice the very basic few skills with your instructor underwater and get a temporary certification which allows you to get credits for Open Water Diver course within a year if you come to Kas and decide to get the course.

Regardless of which program you choose to participate in, our daily schedule is the same:

Every morning we meet at our dive boat Nautilus at 9am. Our boat is located in the harbor which is just next to the town square. You will easily find our boat following the Nautilus signage and flags. (Click here for location).

Our boat leaves the harbour everyday at 9:30 am. We make two dives at two different dive sites and come back to the harbour at around 3pm. There are more than 20 dive sites that we regularly visit.

Non-divers are welcome on board. They can snorkel, swim or just enjoy the different sites we visit. The cost is 20 Euros per person (children under 7 are free of charge).

We do not serve lunch on board, but we offer some hot tea, coffee, soft cold drink and complimentary snacks.

The choice is yours, but we do recommend that you participate in the PADI DSD program and enjoy making two dives down to 12 meters where you will see a lot more marine life than just 5 meters. The PADI DSD programme also has a short eLearning component where you will properly learn the basics even before step into the water, which is included in the price. In the TRY DIVE option, you will still receive some information via a short briefing from your instructors.

Please click on this link to take a look at the PADI DSD elearning programme and start learning the basics of scuba diving. Just follow the instructions to register yourself in the PADI system, then you will need to fill up the forms and finish the elearning in less than half an hour. Please keep in mind that in the medical questionnaire, if you answer ''YES'' to any of the questions, then we will ask for a medical approval from your doctor.

The prices are
